What it is

How it Works

Use Acme Sorbent as a natural solution for a wide variety of industrial uses where absorbents are needed for liquid spills or fugitive odors.

Helps to eliminate odors when broadcast in barns, feed lots, chicken coops, hog and pig farms, wherever odors are a problem.

Absorbs ethylene gas and is ideal for use in food storage facilities and refrigeration units to keep valuable fruits and vegetables fresher, longer.

Applications

ACME Sorbent is derived from an ancient volcanic tuff called Ignimbrite. The picture above was taken of this unique rock under a microscope at 4 microns.

Ignimbrite has exceptional microcrystalline porosity that allows it to adsorb and absorb fluids and odors more effectively than a typical clay product, zeolite or baking soda.

ACME Sorbent is a 2 to 4mm rock chip mined from a whole rock resource, is 100% Non-Toxic and has G.R.A.S.S. status.

ACME Sorbent
Natural Absorbent

ACME Sorbent is like a super charged sponge. It has the ability to absorb and adsorb both liquids and gases (odors).

Adsorption is a surface-based process where a film of adsorbate is created on the surface while absorption involves the entire volume of the absorbing substance.

Ignimbrite is one of the only known negatively charge minerals in existence. This helps to make it one of nature's most powerful air-cleansing agents.
